Fiqh

Acquiring Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) is crucial for understanding and implementing the practical aspects of Islam in daily life. It equips Muslims with the knowledge to make informed decisions on worship, transactions, and ethical dilemmas, ensuring actions align with divine guidance. This understanding promotes a balanced, righteous lifestyle and fosters a harmonious community.

Hadith

Learning Islamic Hadiths is vital for Muslims seeking to deepen their connection with the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings and life. Hadiths provide invaluable insights into the practical application of Islamic principles, enhancing understanding of the Quran. This knowledge enriches spiritual and ethical practices, guiding believers in their personal and communal lives, fostering a comprehensive Islamic way of life.

Sheikh Hassan Faye

Teacher and Academic Director

Sheikh Hassan began his Islamic studies under the tutelage of his father, Shaykh Harun Faye, who was his first teacher and came from a long lineage of scholars. Under his guidance, he studied the Qur’an and the foundational Islamic sciences.


He continued his studies at Al Falah in Pikine, Senegal, before traveling to Mauritania, where he studied for several years under Shaykh Muhammad Hafidh al Nahwi, completing his studies in the Qur’an and Fiqh.

He later returned to Senegal and continued his studies at Shams al-Huda International Academy, as well as with scholars in Kaolack. He then traveled to Morocco, where he continued studying Arabic, Hadith, Maliki Fiqh, and other Islamic sciences under various scholars.


Currently, Sheikh Hassan is pursuing higher education in the Arabic language, with the goal of completing a master’s degree in the Arabic language.
